Introduction of Teacher Ma

Songhong (Susan) Ma, graduated from South China Normal University with a degree in human resource management. Previously, she worked as a business management consultant, providing consulting services to enterprises to improve their management. She is now a full-time Buddhist, asenior Zen meditation teacher, a senior meditation teacher, and a senior Buddhist diet cook. In April 2012, Songhong found her Master and took refuge in the Master, the Buddha, and the Three Jewels. Then, she began to practice Buddhism by studying Buddhist scriptures thoroughly, respecting the Master and following his teachings,cutting off evil, cultivating good, abstaining from killing and eating a Buddhist diet, returning to theBuddha, traveling to holy places, and practicing personally. Having been a Buddhist practitioner for over ten years, Songhong has visited the Guanyin Way-place in China and made pilgrimages to Shakyamuni Buddha’s Eight Holy Places in India and Nepal.
Furthermore, she visited 14 countries in Europe, North America, Asia, etc. Throughout the past several years, Songhong has been involved in studies, research, and exploration of Buddhism and the Buddhist diet. She vowed to promote Buddha Dharma as her duty, follow the Bodhisattva Way, and fulfill the Bodhi vows. Additionally, she vowed to guide more predestined individuals to practice Buddhism, cut off evil, cultivate good, and return to the Buddha. Since she started studying Buddhism, Songhong has kept sharing her ideas and thoughts with other Buddhist practitioners, spreading positive energy, light, and love.
Songhong is the author of the following books: Pine Wind and Water Moon I, Pine Wind and Water Moon II, Pine Wind and Water Moon III, and Breeze and Moon.

Ten Great Vows of Teacher Ma

Vow 1: Take refuge in the Buddha and the Three Jewels, propagate Buddha Dharma, educate all beings.
Vow 2: Learn from the Buddha and always be a practitioner.
Vow 3: Learn from the Buddha, respect the Master and follow his teachings, develop the bodhi mind, practice the Bodhisattva Way, accumulate merits and virtues, perfect virtuous deeds, become a Buddha as soon as possible, and rescue all beings.
Vow 4: Learn from the Buddha, travel in the Ten Directions, manifest what I need to be based on the conditions, save beings from suffering so they can go to the Pure Land, keep Yin and Yang in balance, and bring peace to the universe.
Vow 5: Protect Buddha Dharma, establish cosmic Way-places, participate in the Great Salvation, the Great Practice, and the Great Return, practice my mission, complete my mission perfectly, and return perfectly.
Vow 6: Promote Buddha Dharma and the righteous Dharma of Shurangma to help grow the righteousness of Heaven and Earth.
Vow 7: Practice Buddha Dharma; diligently cultivate precepts, meditation, and wisdom;purify physical, verbal, and mental behaviors.
Vow 8: Study, practice, and promote the Cosmic Laws, working towards a peaceful, balanced, and
perfect universe.
Vow 9: I wish to transfer the merits of my cultivation over kalpas to all beings who hear my name, see me, and hear my voice.
Vow 10: During all my lifetimes, I will practiceBuddhism without suffering.These are the ten great vows of Songhong Ma, whichare witnessed by Heaven and Humans and made clearto all Buddhas and saints. I will diligently put them into practice every day and every moment. May Buddhas support and bless me. May Heaven and Earth testify tothe fulfillment of my vows.
